It has been a while since we co-wrote a blog and let me tell you: we are thrilled about it! If you are new to us, let us officially welcome you!

Who We Are

Our vision is nearly two decades in the making. It started when Jamie, a pastoral counselor with a heart for educational outreach and faith-based counseling, envisioned a group of like-minded providers coming together under one roof to accomplish one mission. It wasn’t until she and Ashlee, a functional medicine practitioner, reconnected seven years later that the two visionaries joined forces through their faith, passion for health, and deep calling to help others.

We began developing a model to treat the whole person: spirit, mind, and body. Fast forward nearly six years, and we now have a team of like-minded practitioners that work collaboratively with you to help you achieve optimal health and abundant life! Our heart is to bring hope and healing to our Marion County community and beyond.

A Different Approach to Healthcare

Our goal is to empower you with a deep understanding of what’s happening in your mind and body to provide holistic, comprehensive solutions that are supported by cutting-edge research. We use evidence-based science along with Biblical principles to help you achieve the results you desire.

This is done by identifying and treating the root of your health issues instead of masking or medicating them. We aren’t anti-medicine, and we certainly aren’t against our colleagues in the allopathic, conventional medicine world. We simply believe that when we detoxify our bodies and our minds, discover our purpose, receive restorative sleep, optimize nutrition, appropriately supplement, and move our bodies, we will recover and heal. Sometimes that requires medicine, and that is okay too!

Our Location Is Changing, But Our Mission Remains the Same

We have grown so much over the past 5 and a half years. We have learned what works and what doesn’t. With this being said, we will continue all of our counseling, functional medicine, primary care, and restorative services in our new location! While the place in which we help you reach abundant life will change, our commitment to whole-person healing remains constant.

We are excited about what the future holds for Faithfully Guided Health Center and want to thank you for being along for the journey, blazing new territories with willingness and open-mindedness. We applaud every one of you for taking your health into your own hands and investing in yourself. You are worth it!

We are moving to the Applewood Professional Park in Ocala, FL on December 1st and can’t wait to see you there!
