November 22 was the kick-start of our new “monthly” Coffee & Kindness initiative. Special thanks to Ashlee Seek who coordinated cookies and waters and to Clint Lewis for providing coffee from Dignity Roasters. Many of us joined together at Symmetry Coffee & Crepes with our children and walked to the Salvation Army where we passed out refreshments and visited with some of the homeless in our community.
Each month on the 22nd, we encourage you to pay it forward and spread kindness. You can purchase someone a coffee, allow someone to pass in front of you, or give someone a little extra time that day. We hope to bring more awareness to our choices to choose kindness.
We hope you will join us on December 22 as we distribute much-needed items to the homeless at the Hope Clinic. You can drop off items in advance if you cannot make it on the 22nd. Items like socks, underwear, hats, blankets, and gloves are needed and there are three different drop-off sites: Faithfully Guided, Sell State at Boyd Development (Laurie Ann Truluck Team), and Angie Lewis State Farm. Please join our FaceBook page, Coffee & Kindness, for more details and to stay current on our monthly activities along with other community kindness initiatives. We hope to see you soon. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our next monthly kind-ness initiative on December 22nd!
